The interactive material is called Physics Now and is designed for online learning to supplement the lectures, recitations and the textbook. You can test your knowledge of a particular chapter with a Pretest, run through a Guided Learning Plan and then test your knowledge with a Quiz. You need to keep the card that comes with your textbook in order to register for the Physics Now site. The interactive learning plan includes:
